| Description |
The tragedy of brain damage caused by domestic violence. A bleak, pessimistic and drawn-out parable of contemporary American life. Its general point is that people cannot bear the truth about themselves; and so take refuge in lies, to the point where they eventually lose the capacity to know which is which. |
