The three plays chosen by the Lighthouse Playreading Service were at differing levels of completion and the principal aim was to give the author time and confidence to develop his or her play. It was hoped that an author would gain by working with actors for a much longer period and not feel that he or she was obliged to have the play performed in front of an audience. Our final aim is not to produce plays ready to go on but to put our services before the writer and to show the potential of the play and its author. |
