Description |
Sub-titled "... a story of decay", Graeme Murphy's brilliant ballet, created for an "adults only" audience, was inspired by his collaboration in the Toronto Festival production of Britten's opera "Death in Venice", itself based on the novel by Thomas Mann.
The ballet starts where the opera ends, with the death of Aschenbach on the beach of the Lido. |
