Description Two works: (1) "X300" choreographed by Frances Rings. In the 1950s a series of explosions was conducted on Maralinga Tjarutja traditional lands. The code name of the test site was X300. This new work powerfully explores a landscape declared vacant and cleared of occupation but which in reality became a contaminated desert which poisoned people. (2) "Emeret Lu" ("Very Old Things") choroegraphed by Elma Kris. The passsion and energy of the traditional people of the Torres Strait fuels this new work. Elma Kris explores her people's love of the land, the seas and each other.
