Description New York based Stephen Petronio injects his signature style of fast, daring movement into this work commissioned by the Sydney Dance Company. Petronio's "Underland" is an inscrutable world: dark, sexy and strange. Inspired by the tender bitter-sweet songs of Pop balladeer Nick Cave, dancers hurl through space with razor-sharp precision, fiercely energised one moment, sensually lyrical the next.
