Description A theatrical exploration of the Ern Malley affair, one of the most notorious literary hoaxes of the 20th century. Devised by two young poets in Melbourne in 1943, the "experiment" caused a literary scandal which rocked the foundations of the emerging Australian modernist movement. A combination of serious critical enquiry and irreverent theatre, it incorporates original songs, live music and integrated video elements.
