Description |
As the steam clouds fade away to expose the white-robed lovers gathered in conversation in their Venetian bath house. There remains little doubt that Shakespeare has moved headlong into the 1990s. But along with modern mobile phones, Ray Bans and tailored double-breasted suits, the essential themes of outcasts, hypocrisy and unfair cruelty remain as strong as originally intended. |
