| Description |
"The members of a Shakespeare Company came together to work on a six month research project. The aims was to study in detail and perform two of Shakespeare's plays, and the project has been pursued away from the time and money pressures of the five week rehearsal period which has become the tradition in Australian professional theatre.
The project was funded by an Australia Council 'Limited Life' grant. The work was undertaken on a full-time basis, but these productions were not regarded by the company as being the final result of months of work together, but simply as a stage in a more open-ended process".
