The winner of the junior section of the 18th Tasmanian Drama Festival, the 7EX Trophy, was Riverside High School with The Golden Gander and they also won the Launceston Players Shield for the best original play. The winner of the Express and Examiner Trophy was the Launceston Junior Players with Dark Lady of the Sonnets.
