| Description |
Vindice, the revenger, after stewing for nine years, finally constructs a plot to kill the lecherous Duke who had Gloriana, his betrothed, poisoned after she rebuffed the Duke's sexual overtures. A macabre Jacobean tale in which virtues and vices of the old world clash and mingle with ideas and discoveries of the new. |
