Comprising four one act plays, "Waking Up" in which a totally oppressed Italian house wife copes with the demands of husband, baby, job and losing her house keys. "A Woman Alone" a very funny but basically dead serious study of a housewife treading the blurred line between sanity and madness. "The Same Old Story" retraces child birth and "Medea", the age-old myth transmogrified to the plight of an elderly immigrant to Australia. |
