Description Inspired by Tchaikovsky's music, Serenade was created by the great George Balanchine upon arriving in America and is now a signature work for the New York Ballet.

Set to the exquisite strains of Paganini and Kreisler, Ivan Cavallari's world premiere Strings 32 takes its inspiration from 'strings' - how they intersect our lives, create music and define elusive parameters.

Sydney-born Terence Kohler, currently resident choreographer at the State Theatre in Munich, choreographs a new work to Carl Vine's Percussion Symphony No 5.
