Description A visual statement on Australia in the eighties. It is a modern fable set in a desert. The desert is a metaphor, rich with figures from Australia's past, present and future. Long Long Time Ago follows the journey of three young people, an Aboriginal boy, a Czechoslovakian girl and a Japanese boy, who are escaping from a society controlled by The Uniformed Ones. In addition to the figures that they encounter, the journey explores their relationship, which is far from harmonious. It is only in their quest for survival that they find a common meeting point and goal.
