Description |
Soundworks festival was a multi-media project aimed at presenting the 'first comprehensive festival of the Australian literary, musical and performance avant-gardes. Sound, text and performance combined in 'recent experiments by composers, writers and artists..who combined these sources into radical alterations' of notation, narration and poetry. These were presented in curated three day programme that presented leading American poets and artists with Australian artists. Each day ran from 11am to 10 pm. Open public forums were scheduled for critical discussions. |
