This production was the final stage of a long term collaboration between Japanese and Australian artists. The collaboration began when Rosalind Crisp worked with Keiko Takeya's Contemporary Dance Company (CDC) in Tokyo in April 1998. At this time she presented a solo work in Tokyo. In December of that year she again visited Tokyo with the sound artist Ion Pearce for a period of two months to work more extensively with CDC. Video artist Soichiro Nobuki also joined the project at this time. This period of work culminated in a group performance season in Tokyo. The artists worked again in Tokyo ... |
