In this work Kate emphasised three different stages in a woman's life (22, 35 and 48) Face Value bridged three stages of Kate's life through an investigation of the emotional anatomy that lies beneath our social facade. This is a touring production of Kate's first solo work. (Source Unknown)
Face Value takes us into the intimate terrain of women who at different stages of life. It pulls back the exterior and gazes past their social facade into the raw, often socially unacceptable truth of their times. One woman becomes several women become one. Face Value is extraordinary physical theatre. A warm, witty exploration of the distance between our inner turmoil and our social facade. |
