Description On a dark frozen night in the Swedish countryside, Hasse Karlsson rushes home to visit his estranged mother before she dies. When the bus he is travelling in breaks down, Karlsson's mind drifts back to the winter of his 13th year, when he and his friend Swallow played their dangerous games. He remembers the terrible night the woman came to a chilling end on the top of a railway bridge. How did this simple game go so wrong? How much did his mother really know of his actions? And why, half a lifetime later, can he still not find peace?
