Half and Half charts the relationship between two estranged brothers, from their tentative reunion after ten years, through to the re-establishment of their emotional bonds. As they belatedly grieve their dead mother, their shared kitchen is transformed into a lush, wild garden. Poetic, metaphoric, comic and gently absurd, Half and Half reveals the complex emotional layers of brotherhood and mateship and the restorative power of love. |
