Description New York 1938. Sylvia Gellburg, a warm, capable woman in her 40s is suddenly and mysteriously stricken with paralysis. Her husband Phillip, an executive-the only Jew among WASPs at a Wall Street-struggles with his own personal demons. As Sylvia's doctore attempts to find an explanation for her illness, the horrific events happening in Nazi Germany take on a terrible significance.
