Description Single Channel Video positions objects as both the visual and metaphorical hero, giving a deeper understanding of the relationship between the self, the object and society. In a gallery space dominated by a floor to ceiling projection screen, a showcase of significant objects is presented, accompanied by narration from an unseen presenter. Within this structure, surrounded by shelves full of everyday objects, ordinary people present to a camera what is meaningful and significant to them, each taking the time to present their items, answer questions, and share their opinions.
