Description Set in modern New York City, Venus in Fur is US playwright David Ives’ adaptation of the 1870s novel Venus in Furs by Austrian author Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. Venus in Fur captures issues facing the film and theatre industry today, with an ironic twist. A power play representing the gulf between women and men. Venus and Mars.

This production features NIDA final year BFA Acting and final year BFA Costume, Properties and Objects, Staging, and Technical Theatre and Stage Management students, with students of the MFA Design for Performance.
