Description |
"The performing space is not defined by visual edges but rather by sonic boundaries which are constantly shifting and changing. As these sonic boundaries alter, so the performers' and listeners' sense of context and placement must change. The performers must continually try to come to terms with their environment using various means of articulation; physical, oral and visual. One outcome of this process involves the performers imagining and inventing their own spaces, buildings and impossible objects to block out or contain the larger environment.
We would like this performance to be considered... a presentation of preliminary... ideas to do with place, space and location." |
