Notes Formerly a water pumping station, The PumpHouse supplied water to North Shore’s early settlers. In 1983, it was listed as a Category II Historic Building under The New Zealand Historic Places Trust. In the 1970s, the building was saved from demolition by local residents and converted into a performance venue.
