Description An "Art and Working Life" cabaret commissioned by the Building Workers Industrial Union which was performed on building sites throughout Sydney. The BWIU and its members worked with the company to develop the show which examines the effects of labour market deregulation on building workers. Shonky work practices, unjust enterprise agreements and language barriers are among the issues explored in this witty and entertaining show. "The Serpents Contract" was received with thunderous applause by the hundreds of building workers who saw it on site during their lunch breaks.
