Poor princess Aurora, having been cursed in her cradle by a disgruntled fairy, pricks her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and falls asleep for a hundred years! A lucky thing for Darwin's young damsels that spinning wheels are no longer so common place! A luckier thing still that such curses can easily be remedied with gallant princely kisses. With a charming cast of 140 dancers ranging in age from four to twenty-three years, audiences are sure to be enchanted by this unique take on a fairytale classic. Puss in Boots, Red Riding Hood, fairies, gargoyles and wolves all make their appearance. |
