| Description |
Tommy's deafness, dumbness and blindness is an analogy of contemporary man's ignorance of his inner spirit awareness and his preference for material wealth. The mirror is a metaphor for the continuing search within oneself guided by a leader, perhaps a god (in this case Tommy's father, the final shocking image that removes him from the outside world into an inward search). |
