Description |
Romanian soprano Nelly Miricioiu makes her Australian debut as Violetta, a role for which she has already been acclaimed throughout Europe. Death, the the form of consumption, stalks the beautiful courtesan as she flirts through an indulgent life in the frivolous Paris of the 1850's. At the moment of ultimate happiness, secure in the knowledge of young Alfredo's true and tender love - tragedy strikes. |
