| Description |
Unjustly transported to Australia and deprived of his family, in 1846 Sweeney Todd returns to a corrupt and impoverished London, swearing vengeance. As the demon barber of Fleet Street, he single-mindedly pursues his bloody revenge, cheerfully aided by his pie-baking landlady. As Londoners consume Mrs Lovetts vastly improved pies, Sweeney's obsessive quest consumes all around him. |
