Description |
"Three-work program... throughout the program the normal frame of reference for our seeing and hearing is constantly dislocated... In Artifact III...there's a challenge, this time to see and hear the ballet idiom differently. There is Forsythe's characteristic fracturing and decentering of classical form. Then there is a corps that with its semaphore signals, its constantly changing linear formations, and its 27 dancers of all shapes and sizes, is a far cry from the kind we usually find in ballet." |
