Description This play is set in a Jewish ghetto in Poland in 1931. A group of amateur actors are rehearsing a play about the famous French-Jewish military officer Alfred Dreyfus who was persecuted for his Jewish beliefs. This play-within-a-play is comic until anti-Semitism becomes part of the actors' lives when they are raided during a rehearsal.
