Between Light commissioned five Australian artists to create new work for Zephyr Quartet, exploring notions of light and dark in their work, taking the Italian art term ‘chiaroscuro’ as a genesis. First presented at the historic Queen’s Theatre, Zephyr Quartet worked with esteemed lighting designer Geoff Cobham and his team, to create a series of unique performance spaces to house each of the five pieces. Geoff returns to the project to create beautiful spaces within Waterside for this immersive promenade concert that visually and sonically explores the chiaroscuro of art and life. |
