| Description |
The absurd plot of The Lesson concerns a timid professor who uses the meaning he assigns to words to establish tyrannical dominance over an eager female student. A Slight Ache concerns a married couple's dreams and desires, focusing mostly on the husband's fears of the unknown, of growing old, and of the "Other" as a threat to his self-identity. |
