Description Adios Cha Cha is billed as 'a show of strength' and indeed it is. It explores the processes that lie behind the struggle for liberation of an imaginary country still dominated by the icons of Christianity, exploited by a landed elite and suppressed by a military regime hostile to its own people. The real strength of this production lies in its thoughtful, compassionate and clear sighted representations of 'the people', invariably the oppressed peasants, men, women and children who live in misery, ignorant of the political and economic processes they serve."
