Anna is the second piece made in connection with ideas from CG Jung and takes up Jung's notion of the shadow as an archetype that is useful in explaining deep psychological processes. The shadow is a metaphorical notion to which Jung attributes that mechanism whereby behavioral patterns which lead to psychological stasis in our personalities are provoked and transformed. Anna takes this idea and seeks to find its own stage language to investigate the nature of the process.
