| Description |
This year's Ballet at the Quarry features spectacular and diverse works including the premiere of Debris, by acclaimed Australian choreographer Frances Rings, trained in New York and formerly a principal dancer with Sydney's Bangarra Dance Company. Debris explores the roots of our humanity, our sameness, through an exploration of the echoes left in the apparent wasteland of Australia's wilderness regions. The evening continues with 19, a work by West Australian Ballet dancer Kim McCarthy using the music of Mozart's 19th Piano Concerto. |
