?A chamber performance piece for solo performer and multiple audio playback machines. The work examines the meeting points of cultures and the role of the media/tor in that meeting. MacGregor draws on a series of recordings done on overseas travels over the past eight years. His role as a journalist has given him access to Other People which the casual tourist rarely has. On the other hand the paraphernalia of recording makes him self-conscious, and serves to reinforce his sense of being a stranger.
