Inspired by Ah Xian's sculptures and works in the Asian Collection at the National Gallery of Australia, director Kate Shearer commissioned the award-winning Willaim Yang to write "Emma's Dynasty". Together they have created an enchanting work for all ages which speaks of discovery and travel to inner worlds not yet charted. Like a modern day Alice in Wonderland, Emma is transported to another world.
