| Description |
A play about the life of one of the great women of the 20th century, American painter, Georgia O'Keefe. At 29, gifted and enigmatic Georgia is pitched into a world of fame and gossip, drawn by the magnetism of avant'-garde gallery director and New York photographer, Alfred Stieglitz, then in his fifties. At 82, living amidst the mysterious Navajo landscape in her desert home in New Mexico and defiantly facing failing artistic powers, she invites Juan Hamilton, a sculptor in his twenties, to be her assistant. Textured and erotic, "Georgia" explores the artist's realtionships and life. |
