Description The simple milkmaid, Patience, doesn't know the meaning of love. Bunthorne super-aesthetic sham poet, pretends to love only languid lilies. Lady Jane reverts to playing double-bass as she laments her fading beauty. The Colonel of heavy dragoons simply can't understand what's going on. Add twenty maidens and a regiment of heavy dragoons and you have first class G&S.
