Description |
In the style of Shirley Valentine this is a one woman show written for and about women. It deals with the frustrations of being housebound. Deborah is middleaged, middle class and middle of the road. She has a fantasy in which she meets an author who sweeps her off her feet. Through the book club Deborah meets an author. Against her better judgement she allows the stuff of her fantasy to come true. The author is using her to get over the breakdown of his marriage. He isn't romantic and the sex isn't up to much.
