Description Programme features five diverse dance works, from classical to contemporary. Mysterious and sexy, Christopher Hampson's Saltarello changes pace seamlessly from subdued elegance to explosive energy. Currently Under Investigation by Australian Dance Theatre's Garry Stewart is an energetic and challenging fusion of styles. Now based overseas, former RNZB dancer Andrew Simmons returns to premiere his work Through To You, which takes its inspiration from the musical piece Spiegel I'm Spiegel. Grieg's Holberg Suite, choreographed by ballet master Greg Horsman, puts the tutu in the tour and explores themes of speed and precision. The fifth work, Koo Koo Ka Choo, choreographed by RNZB dancers Catherine Eddy and brendan bradshaw, has become a crowd favourite, with colourful costumes and music by Lennon and McCartney.
