Description Produced for the Message Sticks festival of Indigenous art at the Sydney Opera House, Flash Blak is acclaimed photographer, Mervyn Bishop's memoirs transferred to the stage. Flash Blak uses performance, music and of course photography to tell Merv's story. He talks to Awaye! about his award-winning career, his life as the boy from Brewarrina, and his place in history - as the creator of some of the iconic images of Aboriginal 20th century life.
