This is an interweaving of stories, music and visual images...in 1990, director Dalmazio Babare worked at the Flemington English Language Centre as artist in residence.
A music performance piece titled My name is...I come from...I speak... was devised from the students' own stories of diverse racial and cultural
experience. Dancing in the Belly of the Beast is the result of a similar process of workshopping. |
