| Description | Performed at Putting on an Act (Perth’s short performance festival)
InHABIT Dance / 10 mins GETdownERS Choreographed by Sete Tele & Rachel Ogle in collaboration with the dancers Music arranged by Sete Tele The dancers (with Down Syndrome) occupy a paradigm defined by light. Each sharing their idiosyncratic perspective of who they are as dancers, groovers, shakers, movers, and as people. Putting on an Act offers a unique opportunity for Western Australian performers to create bite sized original works. In past years, we have seen some highly physical and ‘extraordinary’ performances from actors, dancers, singers and those who dabble in audio. With a different program of short performances every night, each restricted to 15 minutes, this rapid-fire performance season has proven immensely popular since its inception in 1994. |
