| Description |
Glitter balls, grooves and grandmothers transform the stage into a giant dance floor in this international hit. Prolific Korean choreographer Eun-Me Ahn travelled her native country to meet the everyday women who founded modern Korea, many of whom are now grandmothers. Her company of dancers then created a colourful, vibrant contemporary dance inspired by the boundless energy of the women they met. And in a stunning coup de theatre, a group of Korean grandmothers join the dancers on stage in a disco fuelled evening of dance and celebration. |
