| Description |
An installation of 4000 paper bags by Che Ritz exploring mortality and memory. According to ancient Chinese tradition, one is born with a certain number of breaths. When the Chi (breath/life force) runs out, death takes place and the soul moves on. If the artist were to die, she would leave behind a legacy of her breath, bags of air containing her life force. Within them are memories, thoughts and ideas. |
