Description 'Walking on Sticks' was conceived and developed from Sarah Cathcart's experiences in New York and Nicaragua in 1989-1990. It weaved together the lives of four women living on two sides of an enemy border.

Walking on Sticks was an accomplished and original work, was a huge success and was awarded a Green Room award. It then went on to tour both nationally and internationally to great acclaim.
