Description Will Kemp left Shakespeare's company in a fit of pique when he was not offered the part of the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet. Being renowned not only as a clown but also for his Morris dancing, he set off to dance the 125 miles from Norwich to London in nine days - a journey which he later recorded in his book The Nine Daies Wonder.
