First premiered at Shakespeare's Globe in London, this award-winning Hindi translation of Twelfth Night is set in the fast-paced and frantic city of Mumbai. Filled with original music, singing, dancing and many nods to the chaos of contemporary life in modern day India. Twins, Sebastian and Viola are shipwrecked, believing each other to be dead. Viola, disguised as a boy, serves Duke Orsino and is sent to woo Countess Olivia on his behalf. Mistaken identity and chaos ensues. |
