This simply staged piece of 'theatre pop' consistantly hits the sweet spot. Over 90 minutes, four singer-actors pair off to explore the giddy thrills of new love: a Facebook flirt turns serious when Peter wows Georgina on a mountain climb; a florist, Madeleine, is captured by an admirer bearing a single poppy; Daniel and James hook up during a failed attempt at a book club. |
